Golden Text: 1 Corinthians 15 : 22
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
EXPOSITION:
As far as God and humanity is concerned, there are just two destinies. Any other so called destiny is connected to one of these two. Today, I want you to examine yourself, identify your destiny and take important actions subsequently.
If you want to know your destiny, it is very simple- just know your source. Today, everyone one earth belongs to either one of two sources- first Adam or second Adam.
If you came from the first Adam, your destiny is death. On the other hand, if you came from the second Adam, your destiny is life. That’s simply what our opening text say.
That’s why I am surprised when I hear a new creature praying that God should change his/her destiny. Do you want to change to the destiny of the first Adam, which is death? Thank God for His mercy.
The new creature is God’s masterpiece. No better destiny anywhere else. If you are born again, your destiny is the destiny of Christ. That’s what the bible meant when it says you are joint-heir with Christ.
This is why you should be bothered about anyone not born again. They need to be born again because that’s God’s system for changing their destiny to a glorious one.
Prayer, fasting, seed sowing, and doing good works won’t change it. Salvation by believing in Jesus is the only way to change your destiny.
So, today, if you are reading this and you aren’t born again, I am inviting you to declare this with me, believing it with your heart-
Jesus, I believe you are the son of God, you died for me and resurrected. I believe in my heart and I confess you as Lord over life. Come into me and give me a new beginning. In Jesus Mighty Name. Amen!
